A. These CPUs are the successors of the previous one, the higher you go, the better the performance.

And Asus b550 strix-f motherboard will run it properly or not?
A. Depends on the usage, ryzen 9 will offer you better processing but Ryzen 7 5000 series is latest but with some lesser features than ryzen 9. Also a good GPU is advised.
